Privacy Policy
GM Globe — presented by M Consulting & Training, powered by DBG Global.
Last updated: 31 May 2026
GM Globe is a digital accountability platform for grievance redress, safeguarding, citizen feedback, and donor-ready reporting. This policy explains what information the platform collects, how it is used and protected, and the choices available to you. It applies to the GM Globe website and its installable / Android application, which present the same service.
Who we are
GM Globe is operated for institutional clients (ministries, project implementation units, NGOs, and donors) by M Consulting & Training with technology by DBG Global. Each client organization is the controller of the grievance and feedback data submitted to its programs; GM Globe processes that data on their behalf.
Information we collect
- Grievance and feedback submissions — the description of the issue, category, location (country, province, area, facility or service point), and any optional GPS coordinates, photos, documents, or voice notes you choose to attach.
- Optional contact details — name, phone number, and email, only if you provide them. You may submit anonymously.
- Internal staff accounts — for authorized officers: name, work email, role, and a hashed access code, plus sign-in and activity records for security.
- Technical data — a session cookie for signed-in staff and minimal request metadata used to keep the service secure and rate-limited.
How we use information
- To register, route, and resolve grievances and safeguarding cases.
- To let you track a submission with its reference number.
- To produce aggregate, de-identified accountability and donor reports.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and maintain an audit trail.
Sensitive cases and anonymity
You can submit anonymously and can mark a complaint as sensitive. Sensitive cases (including those involving exploitation, abuse, or harassment) are restricted to authorized safeguarding staff, and personal and location details are redacted from non-privileged views and from public or donor reporting. Public accountability figures are published only as aggregate counts.
Sharing
Submissions are visible only to the authorized internal users of the relevant client organization, according to their role. We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers strictly to host and operate the service, and may be disclosed where required by law.
Security
Connections use HTTPS. Access codes are hashed, access is role-based and tenant-isolated, and security-relevant actions are written to an audit trail. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we apply safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of grievance data.
Retention
Grievance and case records are retained for as long as needed to handle the case and to meet the client organization's accountability and legal obligations, then archived or deleted in line with that organization's policy.
Your choices
You may submit anonymously, omit contact details, and request access to or correction of information about a case through the responsible client organization. Requests concerning a specific program should be directed to that organization; GM Globe will support them as processor.
Children
GM Globe is operated by adults on behalf of institutions. Where a grievance concerns a child, only the information necessary to protect and assist the child is processed, under the safeguarding controls above.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.

For privacy questions, contact M Consulting & Training / DBG Global through the client organization that operates your GM Globe program, or via the contact details published by that organization.
